Runtime upstream timeouts
Raise or lower upstream timeouts from the admin console without a redeploy.
What it is
Administrators can change connect, time-to-first-byte and total timeouts for upstream calls from the admin UI without a redeploy.
Why you want it
A provider with a long queue can push first-byte times past the default 30 seconds. Raising the bound live stops a wave of 503s.
How it works
- Overrides stored in the database, survive restarts and reach every replica within the config cache TTL
- Audit-logged with before and after values
- A first-byte or connect bound longer than the total is refused
